Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before booking or using any services provided by KAMASWITHRU, operated by Rudy Reynon II ("Instructor," "we," "us," or "our"). By submitting a booking request, making a payment, or attending any session — online or in-person — you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are booking on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and you accept these Terms on their behalf.
KAMASWITHRU offers martial arts instruction services including, but not limited to: private one-on-one sessions (online and in-person), group classes, workshops, and competition preparation coaching. The specific services, pricing, and session length applicable to your booking are confirmed in the booking confirmation email sent by the Instructor.
The Instructor reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue any service offering at any time. Changes will not affect sessions that have already been confirmed and paid for.
A session is not confirmed until (a) the Instructor has replied to your booking request accepting it, and (b) full payment has been received. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a session slot.
Payment is due in full prior to the confirmed session. The Instructor will send a secure payment link via Stripe following confirmation. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards and other methods supported by Stripe at the time of payment.
Prices are subject to change. The price applicable to your session is the price confirmed in your booking confirmation email. For package purchases (e.g., 5-session blocks), the package price applies to all sessions within that package and is not affected by subsequent price changes.
Prices displayed do not include applicable sales tax or other taxes, which may be added depending on your jurisdiction and the nature of the service. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase under local law.
Credits do not expire and may be applied to any future session of equal or lesser value, with the difference charged at the current rate if the new session is of higher value.
Each session within a package allows one (1) free reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice. Subsequent rescheduling requests or short-notice cancellations within a package are subject to the cancellation policy in Section 3.1.
In the unlikely event the Instructor must cancel a confirmed session, you will receive a full credit for that session and will be offered priority rescheduling. The Instructor is not liable for any costs you incur as a result of a cancelled session (e.g., travel, equipment purchased).
All sales are final. We do not issue cash refunds except where required by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law, please contact us at kamaswithru@gmail.com.
Martial arts training — including kamas (traditional weapons), tricking, kicking, and acrobatic movement — involves physical activity that carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to: sprains, strains, bruises, cuts, fractures, and in rare cases more serious injury. By participating in any KAMASWITHRU session, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all such risks.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Rudy Reynon II, KAMASWITHRU, and their agents, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liability arising from or related to your participation in any session, including claims arising from the Instructor's negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
You represent that you are in adequate physical health to participate in martial arts training. If you have any pre-existing medical condition, injury, or disability that may be affected by physical training, you are responsible for consulting a qualified medical professional before participating and for informing the Instructor of any relevant limitations before your first session. The Instructor is not a licensed medical professional and does not provide medical advice.
If you bring your own training equipment (including kamas or weapons), you are responsible for ensuring that equipment is in safe, functional condition. The Instructor may refuse to allow use of equipment deemed unsafe.
Students under the age of 18 ("Minor Students") may only participate in KAMASWITHRU sessions with the express written or electronic consent of a parent or legal guardian. By agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a Minor Student:
For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, a functioning camera and microphone, and adequate training space. Technical difficulties on your end that prevent or significantly disrupt a session do not entitle you to a refund or credit. If technical difficulties are on the Instructor's end, the session will be rescheduled at no charge.
You agree not to record, screenshot, or capture any online session without prior written consent from the Instructor. Session content, including any feedback, custom curricula, and demonstrations, is proprietary to the Instructor.
All content on this website — including text, images, video, logos, curriculum materials, and session recordings — is owned by or licensed to Rudy Reynon II and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission.
The KAMASWITHRU name, logo, and "Kinetic Arts Movement And Style" curriculum name are proprietary to Rudy Reynon II. Use of these marks without written permission is prohibited.
The Instructor reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a session at any time, without refund, if a Client engages in conduct that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive to the training environment. This includes conduct during online sessions.
The Instructor also reserves the right to discontinue services to any Client at any time for any lawful reason, with a pro-rata credit issued for any pre-paid sessions not yet delivered.
Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
This website and all services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Instructor does not warrant that training will result in any specific outcome, performance improvement, or competition result.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Rudy Reynon II and KAMASWITHRU for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific session giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months prior to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at kamaswithru@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will respond within 14 business days.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action. The arbitration will be conducted in Los Angeles County, California, or remotely if agreed.
Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights. Small claims court actions are also excluded from arbitration.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any booking confirmation email, constitute the entire agreement between you and KAMASWITHRU with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings.
